If clothes make the man
I'd better pack
'Cause my 'fashion statement's'
Been basically black
There's high brow status
Thrift store style
And guys like me
In the middle class aisle
Supporting America
Watching her back
Red, White and Blue
In basically black
Silk, Satin, Leather or Jeans
Whatever the current fad
In riding the trail of life I've found
Simple things make me glad
Good or bad, right or wrong
It's not what you wear on your back
My way of life is color enough
Albeit basically black
