Once again
Words upon paper
Miles upon road
'Round the next bend
Tales to be told
So many lines
Awaiting a verse
Literal asphalt
Articulate curse
Highwayman, Drifter
Blood and ink
Incessant thirst
Of life I drink
Thoughts, expressed freely
Harbor a toll
Such is the fate
In exposing one's soul.
