Daddy's Little Girl

When her newborn picture was taken
Donning a pretty pink bow
Looking rather pissed
She made a fist
How was the nurse to know
She was Daddy's Little Girl

Five years later, the boy next door
Was taught the meaning of, "Why"
He taunted and teased
She was less than pleased
Learned, through his shiny black eye
She was Daddy's Little Girl

"A Harley Girl", she'd proudly boast
The boys laughed in her face
Til the kickstand set
Their match was met
Each put in their place
She was Daddy's Little Girl

Now, a beautiful rose
Blossoms before my eyes
World, look out
Lest there be doubt
Allow me to emphasize
She is Daddy's Little Girl

Wings outstretched, she'll take flight
Untethered to be free
I pray God will show
How to let her go
For she shall ever be
Daddy's Little Girl
