Outside Looking In

Ignorance is bliss, so they say
Should the 'blissful' have their way
We would never again, taste the wind
Ever outside, looking in

The lesson of Laughlin, 2002
Tens of thousands, yet, but a few
Rekindled stereotypes upon us again
From those outside, looking in

To the short sighted, ever quick to judge
Perhaps due to a long held grudge
Leather denotes not, the soul within
Denied when outside, looking in

Old school brothers know it's true
A lot of baggage rides with you
A righteous Biker bares a sin
To the eyes outside, looking in

The life I live, the road I choose
Are such because I've paid my dues
To the 'blissful', the 'few', taste the wind
Or remain outside, looking in
