Ride Of Faith

I know it's been awhile Lord
Kinda, hit n miss
'Bout my goin' more to church
Ya see, it goes like this

It ain't that I forgot ya
Ain't that I don't care
I'm ridin' nearly everyday
I see ya everywhere

The wind ya send to greet me
We go back quite a ways
I used to keep it on its toes
In my younger days

The rain that riders tend to watch
Sippin' Lattés, inside
Cleanses this 'ol Biker's soul
With faith is how I ride

Nothin' I welcome more
Than the sun upon my face
Thankfully I'll take it Lord
Anytime or place

I'm grateful for the scenery
And all who truly care
The kids who smile and wave at me
Even those who stare

'Bout them fancy church folk Lord
Who swear they praise your name
Come Friday night, they swear real good
'Cept it don't quite sound the same

Lord, I hope you understand
I may not always abide
Least I ain't a hypocrite
With faith is how I ride
