Righteous Wheels

Not all scoots are created equal

On righteous wheels, he makes his way
Upon any road life chooses
Playing the cards dealt to him
Never making excuses

Riding solo, so it goes
Perhaps, that's by design
Heaven knows what lies ahead
For this righteous friend of mine

I see him nearly everyday
He greets me with 'that smile'
An attitude adjusting shit ass grin
Guess that's just his style

The speed limit is our running joke
Though I'm well aware inside
He epitomizes 'Ride to Live'
I'm grateful he 'Lives to Ride'

Like an 'ol school Biker, savvy and sure
He skillfully maneuvers his chair
Through high school hallways, teenage peers
That never stop to stare

On righteous wheels, he makes his way
Riding solo, so it goes
Perhaps that's truly by design
But only Heaven knows

For my 15 year old friend Chris...The soul of a Biker, the heart of a hero
